  my story:	first of all i hate those two words put together. anyone who couldnt afford the alternator for there old 900 calls them that. with that said im 22 years old and have a 86 spg 220 hp! and a 94 og vert power house. and i love them as if they were my children and hope to be buried in between the two of them. all saabers rule!!!!! wa-saabi.

  my story:	Since 1991 I was hit by the Saab lightning, as engineer in industrial design, the design philosophy was the right one. 1993 bought my first second hand 9000 CD turbo full options automatic (190 000 km and till 330 000). 1999 switched over to 9-3 on LPG but no turbo!!. Found a 9-5 automatic LPG (150HP turbo), fine car but not pratical (no hatchback), from 90 kkm -180 kkm. Company 9-5 break (diesel), not exciting. Now bought a 900 cab (classic), superb sport chassis and a 9000 CS Aero auto! Fun!

  my story:	Dad raced a 2-stroke SAAB in the 70's in Greece and then bought a 9000CS in Australia. Wonderful car. I then bought a two-door 900S for my wife in 1998 (which is still in the family) followed by a 9-5S in 2001 which is the car I still drive every day. Better in many respects (quality, torque, safety, detailing, seats, materials, fuel economy) than my wife's $100k 2007 BMW 325i Convertible! EcoPower awesome concept which the world is NOW adopting! Glad SAAB is saved. Can't wait for new 9-5...

  my story:	In 1979, I was driving a '71 Saab 99 that was quick, but nothing to get excited about. I had decided to buy a new 99 and found one in my price range at a dealer 200 miles away. It was an automatic, and I wasn't sure I would like an automatic, so I went to a closer, dealer who had an automatic I could test drive. After I drove it, I confided to the salesman that I was considering buying from another dealer who would sell me a base Saab for $8000. At that time a new Turbo Saab was around $11,000. Out of my range. He said he had a 78 demo 99 Turbo, that he could sell me for $8000, and would I like to test drive it. When I sat in it, it felt just like the '71 Saab I was driving. As I pulled out of the parking lot I floored it just like I always did my '71 and went whoa-ho!, when I got that turbo push on my lower back. A feeling I very soon became addicted to, because I couldn't sign the papers quick enough to make the purchase.
  comment:	I was at the NY Auto show a month ago, and was lucky enough to meet Victor Muller at a Saab reception. I loved his story about seeing Saabs enter Denmark from his apartment window overlooking the port when he was a boy. I hope his plan works and we are always able to buy Saabs in the future. Whenever I travel and rent new GM cars, I see and feel a Saab influence.

  my story:	Natürlich mein Cabrio und das Saab mehr ist als einfach nur "ein Auto" sondern einem auch das Gefühl von einem bischen mehr Induvidualität und Exclusivität vermittelt. Dazu kommt, dass das Saab Cabrio für mich schon immer eines der schönsten Cabrios war und ist die je gebaut wurden und ich hoffe auch weiterhin gebaut werden.

  my story:	I can never compare the 1st time I sat behind the wheel of my long lusted after silver, '83 turbo, hatch w/Hella headlights. The smell of Maple syrup filled the air as I opened the driver side door. The interior scent of a 900 classic reminded me of Vermont Maple syrup, appropriately so as I grew up in the Green mountains of Vt. It was 1993 and my SAAB was taking me to college 1,700 miles away. I loved that car so much. I now drive her older sister a '92 900 hatch in scarab green w/tan lthr.

  comment:	The movement is the strongest in the world. Other closed brands, like Rover, Pontiac, or Hummer didn't have so much help and suppoert from their drivers. It shows strenght and spirit of a Saab brand.
